Abstract

It is with deep sorrow to share the news that Prof. Dr. Syed Shahid Shaukat (January 10, 1947 –December 29, 2022), eminent scientist, adjunct Professor, Fellow of Biological Society UK, Ex-Chairperson Department of Botany, Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Biology and Biotechnology of the University of Karachi is no longer with us. His death is a great loss to the scientific community of Pakistan as well as the international community of biological sciences.
