First and Noteworthy Report of Agaricus brunneodiscus (Basidiomycota: Agaricaceae) from Pakistan

Different fruiting bodies of Agaricus were collected in 2021 during moon soon from Lahore and Gujranwala districts. Morphological
and anatomical analysis and comparisons with other Agaricus species reported worldwide confirmed our species as Agaricus brunneodiscus. It belongs to Agaricus subgenus spissicaules, and section Rarolentes. Detailed descriptions, morphological and microscopic photographs and microscopic illustrations are provided in this paper.
